I have an M.A. in English: Creative Writing (emphasis in poetry) from San Francisco State University. I used to drive a taxi to support myself as a writer. In that lifetime, I had several dozen poems published in small magazines. Then I made the switch to fiction, which I have been practicing ever since. I have completed, but not published, seven or so books (see Book Excerpts).

Recently, I went back to school to become a public librarian. I live in Bisbee, Arizona, a small hill-town near the Mexican border.
